Fellow Jade Falcons, I bring you the news of hope we have been waiting for at long last! News comes from the Jade Falcon capital of Sudeten in the Inner Sphere that the majestic falcon will not rest any longer!

Khan Marthe Pryde announced late last night in a press conference that the time has come to respond to the constant raids into our territory by barbarian Lyran Alliance marauders. The time has come to put our code of honour aside and hit them back before we lose all that we have fought and died for.

"These honourless Lyran freebirths have betrayed our treaty for the last time." Marthe Pryde said to the press. "They keep attacking our worlds and we do nothing in response to their treachery. The time has come, Jade Falcons, to pay them back for their crimes. The time has come for retribution. They will suffer for their insolence and they will suffer for all the brave Children of Kerensky they killed."

In another stunning announcement, it was announced that preparations for the raids have already been completed and that Star Colonel Aisa Thastus of the 2nd Falcon Jaegers Cluster will lead the operations herself.

"I have full confidence in her." said our glorious Khan when asked on her opinion of Thastus. "To achieve the rank of Star Colonel by age 24, you need to be the best of the best. She has combat experience fighting not only the Lyran Alliance, but also Clan Wolf. She will succeed for the glory of Jade Falcon."

Aisa joined the Jade Falcon Cadet Academy at the young age of 12 and immediately showed her potential by passing even the most difficult trials. She brutally killed another fellow first year cadet in a trial of position for the squad leader post. She rapidly became the idea Jade Falcon and by the time she was 15, she could best most of the Mechwarrior falconers in combat.
Her greatest honor came when she met then Khan Elias Crichell just after she turned 16 years of age. The Khan was impressed by the talented 4th year cadet and he offered her the chance to fight as a Jade Falcon warrior -- provided she could win her trial of position that is. Aisa destroyed three mechs in her trial, including a rival cadet and earned the rank of Star Commander in 3047.
When the word came that the Children of Kerensky would retake what was their's, that shining jewel Terra, Star Commander Aisa was transferred to the 2nd Falcon Jaeger's Cluster under the direct command of Star Colonel Marthe Pryde. She served with distinction

earning numerous victories over the Inner Sphere barbarians. She fought valiantly at Tukayyid, but even her undying courage wasn't enought to acheive complete clan victory. The invasion was ceased by the treacherous Inner Sphere surrats and the Falcon was forced to rest once more.

After the battle of Tukayyid, Star Commander Aisa was promoted to Star Captain and given the right to fight in a Trial of Bloodname. She piloted a Summoner and defeated three other combatants for the honor of using the Thastus bloodname. With that, Star Captain Aisa Thastus waited and honed her skills with the rest of the Jade Falcons. She took command of Trinary Bravo and whipped them into one of the top fighting forces in Clan Jade Falcon. For several years they would not see any actual combat, until the honorless dogs in Clan Wolf dared to challenge us to a Trial of Refusal.

Newly elected saKhan Marthe Pryde promoted the 24 year old Aisa Thastus to the rank of Star Colonel and gave her the command of her old unit. The 2nd Falcon Jaegers Cluster fought valiantly and bravely in our founder's name and we attacked the Wolves at any turn. In the end, it was not enough and we were defeated by the freebirth Clan Wolf. Ulric Kerensky was saved and Aisa Thastus' unit of elite warriors had suffered their first defeat. Star Colonel Thastus responded by eliminating those who were shot out of their mechs from her unit and replaced them with only the most talented of young warriors. The 2nd Falcon Jaegers Cluster became stronger than ever, but still had no opponent to fight until now.

Star Colonel Thastus was unavailable for comment yesterday, but Khan Pryde announced that the task force was already on its way into Lyran space to attacked a number of unnamed worlds. No word was given as to where these worlds are or what the nature of the attacks are.
